Choose One Small Task That Pays Off Before Christmas

If everything feels urgent right now, pause.

I know it surely feels that it does this close to the holidays. Tackle It Tuesday isn’t about doing everything — it’s about choosing one meaningful task that reduces stress and supports your business before the holiday rush ends.

🎯 Today’s Focus: Close the Loop

Instead of starting something new, pick one loose end and finish it.

That might be:

  • Updating shipping timelines in your shop (right now, deliveries should be overnight, or maybe local pickup only)
  • Responding to unanswered customer messages (even if you can’t make a Christmas deadline, let your customers know, don’t leave them out in the cold)
  • Finalizing a last-minute product listing (hint: save new product launches until after the holiday rush)
  • Scheduling your post-Christmas social post (this is important. Your customers want to know you’re still there, even though Santa’s gone)
  • Organizing orders so January starts clean (carrying tasks and clutter over into the New Year is a big no-no)

Finishing one open loop creates momentum — and mental relief.

đź’ˇ Why This Matters (Especially This Week)

Right before Christmas, creators tend to:

  • Overwork
  • Under-communicate
  • Carry unfinished tasks into the new year

Closing one loop today helps you:

  • Protect your energy
  • Serve your customers better
  • Enter the final days of December feeling capable, not scattered

One task. One clear finish line. Stop when it’s done.

That’s it. No bonus goals required.

And, If you’re craving a calmer, more creator-friendly way to run your shop —
peddl was built for exactly this kind of season.

Always,
